Glenny - Microsite design project

The background

Glenny LLP is a market-leading regional commercial property practice specialising in the South East. Following the success of the Glenny LLP main website launch, Glenny decided to use our design and development expertise to add the facility to create bespoke microsites.

The challenge

Glenny commissioned us to create a simple, yet aesthetically excellent, template to enable the generation of multiple sub-websites (microsites). They wanted to be able to create their own microsites to support specific corporate marketing campaigns, as well as marketing specific investment and development land opportunities. The sites also enhance the accessibility of property information and enable potential applicants to download all the necessary legal and technical literature.

The response

We delivered a simple and flexible design template built into our user-friendly Alcium Site manager - equipping Glenny to create as many microsites as they require, with the option of making them secure with required registration. Potential applicants are able to register their details, access, and download all the necessary information about a site, regardless of the size of the files which are often too large to email. The design of the Glenny microsites is functionally and stylistically cohesive with the main website.

The Feedback

“With the main website fully refreshed we were able to turn our sights to ensuring that our online presence was scalable and provided wider solutions for data sharing and campaign specific support. We decided to take the plunge with a tight deadline, and Alcium rose to the challenge. They developed an add-on to our CMS and had us up and working within three weeks. Above all, it’s so simple. Flexibility is key to effective marketing and we can now build our own sites whenever and however we like.
