Renaissance South Yorkshire

Renaissance South Yorkshire (RSY) was established by Yorkshire Forward, Objective 1 and Local Authority partners in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield to address a sub-regional delivery capacity gap. The Renaissance South Yorkshire remit is to deliver key projects that contribute to the economic regeneration of South Yorkshire.

RSY identified the need for a single South Yorkshire wide system for the joint approach of Enquiry Handling. After an extensive benchmarking, evaluation and review of systems used by other organisations, Evolutive was chosen as the best solution to meet the goals of RSY. Evolutive came out on top based on functionality, flexibility, ease of use, cost and above all a proven system with many existing client organisations already achieving the benefits desired by RSY.

Once selected, a consultation phase ensured that the individual needs of partner organisations were addressed. A detailed implementation plan was agreed which included the merger of data from each of the partners into the single system.

The system implementation, data merge from four individual systems and user training at each of the locations was completed in an 18-day period at the beginning of May 2006.
