Commercial Coventry – do it yourself

A new on-line commercial property search facility has been launched by Coventry City Council's Investment and Business team.

The new search facility is available through the Council's website and makes searching for business property in the city quicker and easier than ever before.

The site is straightforward, and simple to navigate.  A click on www.coventry.gov.uk/businesspropertyonline and ticking some boxes about the type of property you are looking for, the size, and your preference of tenure, and a list of suitable properties within your search criteria will be presented to you.

You can then shortlist the ones you favour, look at them in more detail and plot them on a map. This is a great addition to the service as certain areas in Coventry offer specialist support and assistance to businesses when locating there.  Throughout your visit, you can always change your search requirement or view where in Coventry a particular property is located.

The business property database holds details of over 400 offices, retail units and industrial space for people looking to move their business to Coventry. This extensive list used to only be accessed by the team but the new web page has meant that anyone can now view the properties as a member or by logging in as a guest.

The other benefit of the new on-line service is that the database of properties is always being updated so you can be sure that you are looking at the most up-to-date and current properties available. What’s more, registered members can be emailed as and when new properties are added to the database – saving you even more time.

The Investment and Business team is committed to supporting investment into Coventry and feel that that this latest tool is a great addition to the range of practical help, support and advice they already offer in order to develop business in the city.
